Complaints and Appeals

A reliable, professional service is what BM Domains sets out to provide. On the occasions we fall short, you are welcome to raise it with us. Every complaint is taken seriously, and we will aim to put things right fairly and without delay.

Making a Complaint

Complaints can be made by phone or email using the details on our Contact page. To allow us to look into things properly, please share enough detail to go on — your domain name where relevant, a short outline of what went wrong, and any helpful dates or reference numbers.

Receipt of your complaint will be confirmed within one working day, and we aim to provide a full response within five working days. If the matter needs longer to investigate, we will let you know roughly how long to expect.

Escalation

Should our initial response leave the matter unresolved, you have 10 working days from receiving our reply to ask for it to be escalated. From there, a senior member of staff with no involvement in the original decision will review it independently.

We aim to complete escalated reviews within 10 working days, and the outcome will be sent to you in writing.

Referring to Nominet

If you are still dissatisfied once our own process has run its course, the matter can be taken to Nominet, the official .uk registry. Nominet operates its own procedures for complaints about how a registrar conducts itself, and further detail is available on its website.
